Your solution using DISM was spot on! Greg Carmack, I realize you and others volunteer your time here, but you sent a solution that requires the XPS Viewer to be an available add-on in the windows features. It has been completely removed for many people and cannot be reinstalled via the appwiz. Please read the OPs question carefully. I find that often moderators only half-read what the problem is and jump to a conclusion which is often wrong sending many down a useless rabbit hole.

Prior to the recent update, we used Microsofts XPS viewer to view documents exported by one of our machines. After this update, the feature is completely gone.
